Eddie frowned and his head swivelled around when he heard the shout. Whoever that was, they didn’t sound happy.
He took a drag of his cigarette, before dropping it to the ground, scrubbing it with his foot, and started to move. Leaving behind the building’s shadow as he made his way further out into the parking lot, shifting between the parked cars of the Hideout as he followed the sound of angry voices.
He paused as he came around the side of a car, his surprise at the scene in front of him making him freeze, Steve Harrington was possibly the last person he expected to see in the Hideout’s parking lot at 11pm.

Eddie met and fell in love with Steve online and they started a long distance relationship.
Steve was the absolute sweetest boyfriend, always checking in and asking about his day. Talking on the phone all hours, sending him food, or cute little gifts in the post.
There was just one problem with Eddie’s seemingly perfect long distance boyfriend.
Eddie had never seen Steve.
So he drove for nearly three hours to find him, because he had to know.
He had to know if the boy he had fallen in love with was real.

The grip he had on Steve’s shirt was strong as he pinned him to the wall, pulling his clothes tight into his fist.
But his eyes…
His face was twisted into a scowl as he glared at Steve with everything he had, but when Steve met those big, beautiful, hazel eyes, he didn’t see the anger or viciousness he was clearly trying to portray, he just looked so scared.
And Steve’s heart went out to him.
It was probably foolish, the guy had him pinned to the wall in his own garage with something sharp pressed against the soft skin of his neck. And yet, the pain and fear he could see in this stranger’s eyes made him just want to gather him close in a hug and let him know that it would all be okay.
God, Robin and Max had always said that his bleeding heart would be the death of him.

Eddie was running.
He was running as fast as he could through the forest, his thin shift getting caught on branches and brambles as he fled. He ignored the sharp stabs of pain in his bare feet as he caught rocks and tree roots underfoot, it didn’t matter about that temporary pain; if he was caught by those alphas again he would be in a for much worse pain, with no end in sight other than death.

Eddie was kidnapped by omega traders from his small village Forest Hills. He manages to escape and (literally) runs into Steve. A kind, but powerful, Prime Alpha in the woods. Eddie finds himself drawn to his mysterious host, if only Steve would stop being so damn chivalrous for one moment and actually listen to him.

He knew that look in Steve’s eye, and he knew that Steve wasn’t going to leave this station without that little boy in his arms.

Summary
After leaving the Hawk, Steve drove them to Lover’s Lake. When he turned the engine off, Eddie was in the middle of another rant– something about Steve’s terrible taste in music– which he also interrupted by pressing a kiss to Eddie’s lips this time. One kiss quickly turned into two, then three, and then, Steve lost count. He could only think about Eddie’s tongue in his mouth and his hands in his hair, and how this might be the best date he ever went on even if it wasn’t even over yet. In Steve’s opinion, there wasn’t anything that could ruin it.
That is, until he hears a growl.
