Summary
There was a singular, unsettling experience I had, several years ago, that I have never before committed to paper as there has been no reason to do so. It is not something suitable for publication, nor is it something that I particularly enjoy to remember since it took place during those dark years after returning from Switzerland, alone. Nevertheless, as of late I find myself thinking on it frequently; my mind is drawn to it as a compass is drawn north.
In his private journal, Dr. Watson recounts a tale of a lonely night, tormented by memories of one who is no longer there.
