The EggVerse is a fluffy little excurse into an alternate universe where Maiar lay eggs and many of the tragic parts of Middle Earth's history never happened. It does not have a mind blowing storytelling nor great worlbuilding. It simply exists for a little fluff.

When Morgoth fails to seduce Mairon to his side due to the latter falling in love with and marrying another Maia named Gaileth, he refuses to give up and kidnaps him, taking him away from Valinor and his Gaileth. Under heavy threats to his wife, Mairon pledges himself top the evil Vala's cause, thinking the other Valar will soon come to defeat Morgoth again
When he realises that only the Ñoldor, who don't stand a chance against Morgoth's full might, have come, that the Valar won't come to fight again and that he's all alone, he has to do his best to stay alive, help the elves beat his forced and crazy master without said crazy master noticing and to get back to the one he loves most
