Starscream had been a GHOST prisoner for a long time. With the arrival of new Decepticon prisoners and a human with Cybertronian arms, things went from bad to worse real fast. It was hell. They would get tested on with weapons made to hurt and neutralize Cybertronians. He didn't think Decepticon torture had been this bad, with the exception of Shockwave.
Starscream felt angry, betrayed and scared. After four million years and all their talk about freedom and equality, how could the Autobots have appoved this?

"Where is Knockout?" Ratchet growled, clenching his scanner with enough force to make the metal groan under his digits. He was sick of this human's game. The war had already cost Cybertronians enough lives - humans didn't need to add another to the list.
"Oh, you can't hear him?" Silas puffed in near amusement, gloved fingers moving somewhere below the screen, "Here, let me turn up the volume on my side of things."
That was the last word he spoke before the portable scanner's speakers involuntarily increased, and two different spark-wrenching sounds came through. The first was a grinding buzz of overlapping drills and saws, screeching against metal alloys. The second was still a screech, but produced from a vocalizer. The sound was raw and agonizing - screams broken by choked sobs and glitched mechanics.

Knockout was getting really sick of this. Every day it seemed, Starscream did something to piss off Megatron, and every day, Knockout had to pay the price, spending hours welding him back together, piece by matte-painted piece.
It was slagging inconvenient, is what it was.
The only thing that made it bearable was how quiet the Seeker was. He barely even flinched anymore. No matter how rough Knockout was.Or:
Knock Out accidentally gives the Autobots a reason to try and have Starscream, and it works! What will Knock Out do to fix it? Try to kidnap Starscream AND Prime, of course!
