Even though he’s slowly moving into Subspace he can tell by the hard, fast blinks that Rozanov is struggling to comfortably slip into Domspace.
Shane swallows. He’s a Sub. Maybe an inexperienced one, but Rozanov had been telling him to trust his instincts. And, right now, they're telling him that his Dom needs more from him than just following Commands tonight.
Shane kisses the corner of Rozanov’s mouth once more, just to delay his nerves, before slipping down to his knees on the floor. He crosses his wrists behind his back and bows his head.
There’s a sharp intake of air above him and then a trembling hand is running through his hair and over the back of his neck.
And; the boys are vulnerable, the friends are concerned, and the yearning is painful.

He opens his eyes and watches as the shadow underneath the sink grows, rocks back, breathes and creeps along the tiles of the bathroom floor toward him. He buries his teeth into his lip, frozen in place.
“If you’re trying to kill yourself,” a voice announces abruptly, “you’re doing it wrong.”
Steve’s eyes don’t move, stay half-focused on the shadow just before his feet as though it’s about to leap at his face with claws and rows of teeth from a face that opens up like a flower. His fingers twitch.
It feels a little like sleep paralysis. Only, Steve doesn’t think he’s asleep this time. He wants to go to sleep.
“God, you’re just as fucked up as the rest of us, aren’t you?”
