Ricky sat in the quiet bathroom, staring at the small plastic stick in his trembling hands. His mind refused to make sense of the two pink lines staring back at him. He had always been careful, always so cautious but now, everything felt like it was slipping through his fingers.

Kim Gyuvin and Shen Ricky were idiots in love. The kind who’d give up their lives for each other. But, fate didn’t have a happy life in mind for them, and tragedy struck during a school festival, as Ricky pushed Gyuvin out of the way of a speeding car and never got back up. They said he was gone, Gyuvin watched him get buried.
Five years later, at their high school reunion, Gyuvin sees him again.. He was.. alive? But, what made Gyuvin’s eyes burn with confusion was that he was.. holding hands with Wang Yixiang, and..wearing an engagement ring.
When Gyuvin called his name, but, Ricky only stared and said,
