Capitaine Jean Louise is a hardworking, resilient, and popular sergeant-turned-officer who has a disproportionately gargantuan workload. Despite that and the fact that he was just recently raised to heavy expectations, he's always determined to be his greatest self and the best leader he can be, an unmovable mountain in the tornadoes of torment.
Those he endeared himself to, however, raise their concerns at the costs.

Summary
Saint de Victor's XI Corps, Jonathan Baker, Erdhart Dentlinger, and many others, sometimes their names are not even known.
They leave little notes for us to find on the map, and from there, we piece together what happened during their times.
But I've decided that they deserve a little more love than a corpse and a bloodied note or two.
This series is mostly comprised of pre-map, canon-compliant, especially angsty fic detailing the lives of the people in lore (that the devs may have thought of as plot devices and afterthoughts), but it may also include more light-hearted, humorous, and fluff-filled fics that may include original characters too. Sometimes, they may even live :)

Barry, Jacob and Karl have found themselves sharing a quant apartment together. Who will they meet, what will they do? With no threat of the undead the only thing they really have to worry about is paying rent and surviving each other.
This is a collection of small fics that occur in the same universe with some relation. There is no huge overarching plot just smaller story’s put together, exploring the lives of the guts and Blackpowder npc’s if they weren’t fighting against the undead. This is also just a place for me to write scenarios I couldn’t make work in the normal guts and Blackpowder universe and to just experiment with writing overall. Please don’t take anything written here super seriously or expect it to be good this is my cringe slop and I doesn’t matter if it’s bad in the end because it’s mine.

Worrying about who he's hanging out with, worrying about if he will take up the bread trade, and worrying if he is truly happy with the The Maverick persona he's adopted. What starts off as minor curiosity about one of their brother's friends turns into a need to understand him and possibly learn more about themselves.
