Summary
Branzy was a pirate captain. He had a loyal crew and was able to make a small fortune for himself.
But when he's betrayed by a close ally, things turn sour for the now lone captain.
Fortunately for him, the deadliest pirate the Lifesteal Sea had decided to help Branzy get his revenge, under certain agreements of course.
Here's how Branzy, Captain of the Violet Heart, became indentured to one of the most powerful pirate crews in the sea. Will revenge be worth it? Will he find something worth more than revenge?

Grian stares at him for a long moment. Steps back, then says, “Hit me.”
“What?” Scar says again, wrongfooted.
“I need to test out the arm. Hit me.” Grian gestures, miming a fist into the air as if Scar might not know what a punch looks like.
“Can’t I just—hit something else?”
“Nothing else to hit. Go on, I need to test my handiwork.”
Scar laughs nervously, high-pitched. “Grian—”
“Come on!” Grian almost snarls, eyes fixed on him, empty and black. The flickering green fluorescents cast a strange sheen over his face, makes him look washed out and not quite real. “Hit me! I’ll be fine.”
