Summary
They meet at the grocery store.
Edward Teach is Queen Anne's Revenge's lead singer and guitarist, a rock band larger than Stede realizes. All Edward wants is to leave it behind, drop that part of his life that was fueled by his anger and pain, and instead express himself in the ways he really wants. The thing is, no one else wants him to change.
It's been five years since Stede's divorce from Mary; five long years of sitting in his pool of shame with his sexuality. He's not the arrogant, naive man he used to be--the guilt of breaking his family has left him anxious and lost, and he's not sure if he will ever find his confidence again. His world had flipped on its axis, a complete restart, and he's forging his way through his new life one road bump at a time.
When the two meet, they discover a relationship they never imagined possible. Stede can finally begin to heal and grow while Ed can be himself without the blinding spotlight of fame. They matter to one another; feel seen, loved, and appreciated. Ed shows Stede the adventure in life and pride in who he is, things that he'd long forgotten, and Stede encourages Ed to pursue the career he wants, and the things he loves.

Summary
In the aftermath of the averted war with Heaven, Alastor and Lucifer both have to adapt to the new normal. Alastor has his freedom but no idea what to do with it! Lilith is back and Lucifer finally has his closure: he's divorced. Yay?
The one constant for both of them is each other. They must face revelations about just what their rivalry means to them... and the desires that it inflames.
