Seeking comfort in materialistic things is normal. But you? You decided to spend your sorrow into an incompleted visual novel called "The Freak Circus." It was silly, you knew that, but would you stop? Hell, no.
In fact, you couldn't even count how many times you replayed the game, over and over again, just to pick the same ol' known options. It was pathetic. Nothing could replace the fulfillment it gave you, but soon the hole in your heart started to form again.
Oh, how you wished you could oh-so suddenly wake up within the game. A place to start a new life, one where you wouldn't have to face your real life struggles, and not to mention meeting the characters you loved... But that's just an absurd dream to keep hidden inside a drawer somewhere.
And it sure was absurd, but alas, it wasn't a dream anymore.

This fanfiction deals with the G1, Prime, and Armada continuities and the main characters are Knock Out and G1 Starcream. This story takes place directly after Breakdown's death in the Prime universe and prior to Starscream's coronation.

That no matter how much the robot screamed in pain, or how more and more evidence began to stack up that it was more than just fancy inanimate machinery, that it was just that; machinery. Not alive.
You had to believe it.
Otherwise, you’d have to come to terms with the fact that you were not only complicit in the suffering of another living being, but actively responsible for it.
