Hao was just about to lie down again, force his eyes shut, and stay like that until his consciousness began to fade when a bright light outside caught his eye.

Usually, he wouldn’t believe in things like that. Between the two of them, Hanbin was always the one who enjoyed things like blowing on dandelions and collecting four-leafed clovers. Hao was a realist. Either you took things into your own hands, or they wouldn’t happen. However, looking at the shooting star now, the sinking feeling in his chest was back again. The vice that wrapped itself around his heart constricted painfully, and the stinging in his eyes seemed to be even worse than before.
“I wish I could do it all again. I wish I could be a little more confident. I wish I had my family back.” Were 3 wishes even allowed? He didn’t know the shooting star logistics, but if 3 were too much, the shooting star could just choose one, right? Hao didn’t even have the energy to care about that in detail though, because his eyes started to feel heavy again.

Hanbin is turned away, fiddling with the clamps on the bar when Hao says, “I wonder if you could bench press me?” It sounds like he’s thinking out loud, the words soft like Hanbin wasn’t meant to hear them. He whips his head around. Hao has his head quirked to the side, a finger held idly to his bottom lip. His eyes are set on Hanbin, but they’re unfocused like he’s off somewhere else.
“...What?” Hanbin questions. Hao’s eyes refocus like he’s just remembered where he is. He smiles, then giggles to himself.
“Nothing,” he sings, and before Hanbin can even think to prod further, he’s turning on his heel without another word, heading back to the treadmill.

He trails off all of a sudden as Hao lets go of him, closes his eyes, and plants his face directly into Hanbin’s crotch.
