He eyed the kid climbing over the wall and dropping into the bushed inside the estate grounds from where he had been assigned guard duty as a new fully initiated member of the Ginmori yakuza.
“What are you doing in here, kid?”
The teenager, sporting a private school uniform and fluffy purple hair scowled at him cautiously, as if testing the waters.

Funnily enough, the chromosome mutation that means he cannot feel pain, fatigue, hunger, or fear is a genetic issue entirely unrelated to the generation-skipping powers.
