Summary
Every Horde recruit knows the story of how Hordak landed in Bright Moon and Queen Angella gave the Horde her Moonstone in exchange for his help unifying the people of Etheria. Problem is, the Etherians don't seem to want unifying, viewing the Horde as less of a benevolent savior and more of an occupying force.
Hence, war broke loose.
The Horde has superior technology, but the other princesses wield powerful magic, allied with an army of sorcerers super-charged by the Spell of Obtainment. Yet a new princess emerges to break the stalemate: a golden warrior out of legend known as She-Ra.Bright Moon is the eye of the storm and no one's sure what the truth is, especially since the Queen disappeared shortly after King Micah, leaving Bright Moon's princess alone and unchecked save for her best and only friend: a tech savvy orphan named Bow who serves as Hordak's apprentice.

Summary
"Alternate Universe - Canon divergence" is the main tag, also known as "what if".
Some are Post-War, aka, post S5 or so… But I had many ideas that take the Spell of Obtainment as diverging point, so it's better to change the name.
But the constants are: Castawever, and SW still the monster we know, and 99% of the time being held accountable and getting better. For now, there's like one fic in which she doesn't, but at least acknowledges the pain she inflicted so… it's better than nothing. She's still not made "sympathetic"; that wouldn't be realistic.- Words:

There is an eliminated scene from Ch 12 of Cast-a-Shadow posted separately,
the only E-rated work in the whole series, another one from Ch 58 of Throw away The Mask, and now also one from Ch 4 of Life Will Change. So it's mostly safe to read.--> This path is not a "redemption arc", it's a regretting arc. It's not about SW redeeming herself, but rather her learning to regret (nope, it's not easy at all).

The world is coming to an end, with the Arrival of Keppler C9.
No one has more than seven months left to live. What do you do? Catra Ramirez has no real idea. She has been under her mothers thumb most of her life and when that thumb (along with her job) dissappears, what will she do? Learn to play bass? Go surfing? Kill Bill?
Find an old flame? ...Yeah, that sounds nice.
Inspired by (Especially the first chapter) Carol & The end of the world which is... Maybe not a show for everyone, but it IS interesting. Honestly, when I saw the title I was amazed that noone had done this before me.
It will not be a retelling of that story though, save for the start. This is, after all, CATRA at the end of the world.
I have no update schedule or even a real plan, but... well. There is seven months left until the world ends so... At least there is a deadline? Join me on this ride, I have no idea where we will go but at least it will be interesting!!!
CW and TW for swearing, drinking, smoking and me being mean to Scorpia. Oh, and if you don't like music from the 90's, beware.
