Before he's even thinking too hard about it, his legs move on autopilot. They lead him towards a very familiar white and pale purple uniform and without even realizing it, he's already sat down and arms have already snaked around his waist.
There's a sudden silence inside the lounge. Not uncommon- But very abrupt.
"What?" He echoes with palpable confusion.
Julius looks away with a faint tint of pink on his cheeks as Ferris howls with laughter that sends them careening into the floor.
Coincidences turn into habits, unfortunately.

Summary

Fantastic plot. The shit twists and turns like it’s a goddamn roller coaster with the sheer amount of shenanigans that occur, but it’s still enough on the figurative rails where the rides experience is a jumbled mess.
Harry’s characterization is a great look into how someone like him would grow up in a world where Voldemort won, but what makes extra interesting is that he’s not known as anymore special and is thought to be some regular muggleborn by the masses despite the fact we have clear signs of some kind of mystery occurring with Lily & James given Snape (and Pettigrew’s) behavior.

Great fic that isn’t bogged down by having its Protagonist be an OC. The characterization feels very consistent & grounded for all the canon characters that appear aswell which makes how they bounce off Narina rather neat.
Mystery as a story aspect is also rather well done. You get a lot of clues & if you pay attention you can entwine them together to create something that makes sense, but there are times where red herrings are utilized in a sneaky way.

Tom’s psycho tendencies are rather well done. I like how you can see how crazy he is beneath that veneer of humanity he’s got plastered over that ugliness. His interactions with Harry are a neat way to contrast his craziness with an actually normal person going “wtf” at seeing such behavior.
Anyways. The Knights feel really nice in this aswell. Each have their own characterization that makes them firmly feel like people, and not just Tom’s minions even if obviously there is an aspect of subservience to them.
