Summary
Stumbling blindly through Gotham's night was not how Danny expected his evening to go -- but to be fair, Vlad injecting him with blood blossom extract was also NOT how he was expecting his evening to go. So it's a night of new surprises, and really Danny just wants to get away from his godfather as soon as possible before the man catches up to him, or before the blood blossom currently coursing through his veins and eating him raw killed him.
Vlad is a man that likes to hide in the dark, it's unfortunate for him that Danny's learned to be a thing that hides in there too. From the corner of his unfocused eye he spots a man with horns dripping in shadows, hiding in an alleyway. Danny knows a kindred spirit when he sees one.

Summary
Danny finds a car in Gotham. Which is a lot like finding a cup in the kitchen, or a blade of grass outside in the lawn. It's nothing really special, there are cars everywhere in Gotham.
But, but, THIS car is something special.
Even if that something special is the fact that it's parked in a one-sided alleyway, enshrouded in shadows to the point that Danny practically trips over it while he's phasing through the next-door building into said alleyway, and painted in all-black matte paint. It's been souped up to hell like it wouldn't be out of place in a Fast and Furious movie.
What is Danny supposed to do, ignore it? It's not every day that he gets to be this close to a car like this, especially not in Gotham where someone owning a car like this means they're either A) Rich, B) Part of the Mob, or C) Both. The engine isn't running, it's past midnight, and there's nobody around; which means nobody is in a rush to use it. He has time to admire a cool car, and speculate! What harm could come out of it?

Summary
Sometimes, grief has a gravity that you never get up from. And sometimes, it leaves little boys that have glass in their teeth and punch-scraped skin with a hole in their heart and blood in their mouth, and a five-year long taste for vengeance over the murder of their best friend.
Gotham claws its way into the hearts of its children and leaves oil-smears on their souls. For Danny Fenton, he is no different and no better than the rest of his fellow kids of Crime Alley. It doesn't matter if he's been gone since he was eleven. Blood has always been a part of him, so it's second nature for him to pick up his fists and turn them into claws. It's how he's been taught, after all.
And what he's also been taught, is that arrogance kills, and the Joker has been long since due for his fill.

When he stopped shivering under his blankets with thoughts of monsters and ghosts creeping out of his closet to swallow him whole. When he slowly peeked out from beneath his stars-and-ships comforter and quietly listened to the howling of the wind and the subtle creak of the house, the whine of his window frames.
Danny Fenton was just four years old when he realized, blanketed by nothing but shadows and his own silence, that monsters may hide in the dark -- but he is in the dark too. He is hiding there too.
Danny Fenton is just fourteen when he goes inside a strange alley, bleeding and dying from blood blossom extract roiling through his veins. He finds someone hiding there too.

This series is for any and all Danyal Al Ghul aus that catch my fancy and I decide to write down! Some of them are connected, and if they do they'll likely have a separate series to them. Knowing myself, they'll all carry similar themes of letting Danny's assassin heritage have more significant impact on him as a person, because I've noticed that it's heavily underutilized in most Danyal Al Ghul aus I see despite being such a significant backstory change. While not every fic will like, go into a whole character analysis about Danny's time in the league, his backstory as an ex-assassin will in some form or another, influence his behavior, personality, and the like.
I have a lot of feelings about this. And since I try not to be in the habit of telling people how to write their own fics/aus/etc, I'll just make it myself lmao.

Summary
Danyal Al Ghul is dead the same way a neutron star is; with the light still shining millions of years after the star has died. Or, in other words: Danny Fenton has a little brother who he loves very much, and of whom hates him in return. It's fine, he did that on purpose.
In order to protect him, Danyal Al Ghul fakes his death when he's ten years old, and with his mother's help slips into the American foster care system. From there, he gets adopted by the Drs. Fentons, and spends the next five years as Daniel - although he prefers Danyal - Fenton. This is a series of connected stories for this au that starts with Damian and his family finding out Danny is alive. Each oneshot will be connected, but may not be in chronological order. We'll see where my writing hands takes me.
OR. Starry was driving home one day and thought "Who taught Danyal Al Ghul to be kind in the League?" and then went down a rabbit hole that ended with her wanting to explore the idea that the league of assassins left more of an impact on Danny's psyche and personality than what is usually shown, and as such wanted to make an au where Danny has things to unlearn from the League. Sometimes, kindness shows itself differently.

So, Poseidon would admit he was lost.
Odysseus had tricked him. Again. Despite the way the man had been all but trapped in Poseidon’s domain, Athena’s precious ‘Warrior of the Mind’ had not yet run out of luck and Poseidon was suffering for it. The coward refused to extend proper mercy, didn’t stand like a hero, and now used trickery to run from an honorable death. False righteousness, not even finishing the job.
Yet Poseidon had chased him down, following him into the cave Odysseus’s ship had sailed into. Or, the cave he thought Odysseus’s ship had sailed into.
He wasn’t sure anymore. This was most certainly not Greece anymore.

EPIC: The Musical's Poseidon lands in the PJO verse and decides that if the local Poseidon is not going to raise his son, then he's going to do it. Percy is just happy to have a dad that wants to take him to drown ferries of tourists.
