Summary
Long before they meet at Garreg Mach, Edelgard von Hresvelg and Byleth meet one another somewhere neither of them fully understands: a quiet throne room that only exists in their dreams.
For Byleth, it starts with a strange, sleeping, green-haired girl, and a door that should not exist. For Edelgard, trapped far away and growing up in a world far crueler than it should be, that door between their dreams slowly becomes something precious.

I’ve always liked this battlefield.
There’s always something happening on it! Lasers whizzing by overhead, the metal-ish sound of drones clinking, and clanking, and blowing the hell up? I can’t get enough of it.Hm. No, it appears as though I’m slightly off the mark.
Perhaps this is the distant future?
I mean, some people think this map is ‘uncompetitive’ and ‘Luck-Based Chance Slop,’ but those people are freaking stupid! This map rules! If you can’t roll with the random earthquakes and item drops, then that’s just a skill issue! Get good, scrubs!

Indeed, tis neither the distant future nor the distant past!
Rather, this story takes place within the confines of a world, shifted just ever so slightly in the future.
And it all begins with a loudmouthed, irresponsible, positively radiant little-known streamer who’s just beginning her journey to 10 million followers.

Summary
Following the success of Operation Hooked, Jane Doe was given a few weeks of leave. She decided to use her free time to explore Sixth Street more...hah, who was she kidding. She wanted to learn more about that cute blue-haired manager of Random Play. Jane sensed something was hidden behind the surface with that girl, and it intrigued her. When she got there, a shoplifter ran into her at the front door. This led her to opening up an old unsolved case, and Belle may be one of the only leads she has to catch an old enemy. It seemed like Belle already had a crush on her, so this should be easy...right?
Belle woke up one weekend to Fairy alerting her to a shoplifting! But when she rushed downstairs, the thief was gone and that pretty Rat Thiren from before was standing there smiling smugly at her. Quickly forgetting about the thief, she found herself being flirted with and left completely flustered. Belle decided then that she wanted to learn more about the elusive Jane Doe, and began her own personal investigation.
