Summary
Gotham is sick. Something is punching holes into the Infinite Realms, causing a malaise in the city. Danny’s job is to fix these cracks. His time there while mending these wellsprings of rotting goo is broken up by him forming new relationships with a lesbian couple who kinda adopt him and a cute guy who thinks he's either a vampire or involved with the new ecto-blasters that have hit the streets. Danny likes Gotham and all its weird craziness, including the bat-themed furries that protect it, now he just has to make sure it stays on the map instead of becoming a cesspit of the Infinite Realms.

Summary
The experience of slowly falling apart did not feel the way he thought it might. You would expect to sense your body crumbling into ash, going numb and shooting static through your veins in the way that a limb does when it’s fallen asleep. But no. It’s pure agony. He suffers through the disintegration process; he feels his blood turn into dust inside of him, before it starts attacking his nerves, then his bones, and finally his skin. Its progression only actually takes a few seconds to reach the last stage, but it feels like an eternity.

Summary
“What the hel are you doing, Mobius?” Loki hisses as his friend tries to step in front of him, to get in the way of the agents as they start to train their weapons on Loki from a distance. He takes hold of Mobius’ sleeve, tugging him out from in front of him; he wasn’t about to let his self-sacrificing idiot get hurt.
The man in question turns to him, resting a hand over Loki’s own that’s still holding his shirt. “They won’t hurt me right away,” he explains quietly, glancing at the group as they get closer. “We can get them to talk rather than going straight to arrest us.”
“Arrest me, you mean.” Loki eyes the black clad group, their stomping getting louder by the second. Only a few more moments before they’re surrounded. “They’ll probably think I enchanted you, Mobius.” He explains, hoping he can get the man out of the way of any weapons.
“I mean, you kinda did,” the man teases, grinning at him.

Summary
The building shook, dust falling from above as pillars and rebar attempted to hold everything together for just a bit longer. Grime was covering his sweaty skin, caking into a mess and itching something terrible. His eyes weren’t much better, a burn resonating in them as the powder from the concrete hit his irises.
“Mobius!” He called out, almost regretting it when he started hacking on the dust particles entering his throat and lungs. Loki had to get through it though; he had to find Mobius.

Summary
His life was one instance of bad luck after the other. Oh, he had his good days of course, but those were overwhelmed by the bad. The days his father decided to burn his lessons into him, the days his sister wanted a human target that wasn’t her ‘friends’, the day his cousin died, the day his mother disappeared. Those were just some of the few examples he could think of, but there were many more throughout his life.
This was just the next in the long list of very bad days.

“Baby Bird?” Jason’s voice shifted, softened into something almost fragile, as if he were speaking to a child. Maybe, in his eyes, Tim was exactly that. The familiar nickname—so wrong, so tender—sent a tremor down Tim’s spine. Jason never called him that. Jason never spoke to him with warmth.
Jason hated Tim.
He shut his eyes tight, praying this was just a cruel dream. But then warm hands cupped his face, grounding him. A metallic clatter echoed through the cave, sharp and final. The gun had hit the floor.
“No, no, no—don’t close those blue eyes, Baby Bird. Look at me,” this time Jason’s voice cracked into a plea. Every word trembled with fear, with a need that made Tim’s chest tighten painfully. Tim bit down on a sob, the taste of salt and blood filling his mouth, forcing himself to lift his gaze and meet the toxic green fire of Jason’s eyes once more. He could feel the tremor in Jason’s hands, the way his knees pressed into the cold floor, and it made his own body ache with tension.

Tim wakes up in Gotham, which looks too foreign, but he finds a home there.

“Kon is getting an apartment,” Tim says and his fingers are digging into his lifeline. “He needs a roommate.”
He doesn’t, but Tim prays he won’t mind.
“Where?” Dick demands then winces at his tone.
“San Francisco,” Tim answers.
Tim was never meant to be a permanent part of the Batfamily. He took on the role of Robin because Batman needs a Robin, but Batman has a Robin and even more people in his corner now and he doesn’t need Tim.
or Tim is used to putting his wants up on a shelf in favor of what the people around him need, but maybe it’s time for him to take them down, dust them off, and see what’s inside.

When he wakes up and claws his way out of the water, the sun has set, and the lights of his house are on. He is cold and wet and his lungs burn.
But most of all, Tim is alone.
