Life had been good for Eren as of recently.
Every morning he woke up, he got to sleep in. There were no crazed rushes to work or ragged running around before getting ready for class. He just woke up. Sun shining, curtains open and two faint warm spots on each side of him where his lovers had previously rested.
Life was good like that. Amazing even.
He could take his time, fumbling out of bed and getting ready for the day. He didn’t have to anymore but for the sake of him, and Levi, he untangled his hair, languidly running a wet brush through it while he looked himself in the mirror.

While Ogilvie turned his head, Dennis managed to pull out a sheet of stickers from his left back pocket and stick a ‘Bad Job’ sticker with a thumbs down on the hem of the man’s shirt.
There's a Jane Doe baby in the emergency department. It's not an unusual circumstance, but it's certainly not common. It's a normally in hospital transfer and Dennis gets sent down as usual. If he gets distracted by a certain chief attending, that's no ones business but Dennis'.

He pulls into the first empty stretch of road that he spots before turning to Clark again, "You thought I offered to bring you to my favorite restaurant in Gotham for an interview?" He tries to suppress the smirk that pulls at the corners of his mouth.
"…yes..?" he says, the bravado of Clark Kent Reporter quickly fading as uncertainty creeps into his voice.
