Summary
Calais knew that his dreams were ridiculous and unattainable, knew they were unrealistic. Yet they were comforting and he often times relished in the comfort of his imagination, instead of facing the real world.
Nevertheless, he found himself yearning for a different method of storytelling. One that felt restrictive, yet when done correctly could paint world's in your mind more powerful then ink and parchment, then paint and canvas.
What Calais yearned for, was music.

Summary
A year ago, Ra's al Ghul helped Tim to bring the Batman back from where he was lost in time, saying only that he wanted a blank-check favor to call in from Tim. Now, with Bruce finally returned and things going back to sort-of, kind-of normal, Tim is still figuring out his place with his family-slash-coven. Before he can, Ra's calls in his favor, and Tim finds himself ensnared in the web Ra's had been spinning from the beginning. Now he has to find his way out of this nebulous trap and prevent Ra's sinister plans from coming to fruition, but it's far more difficult than he could have ever imagined when his enemy is now himself.

Bruce’s brain takes a moment to reboot. “Your parents are in South America?”
“Yes.”
He’s not sure why he’s so surprised – the Drakes are known for their work in archeology, and not much of that can be done locally. Still, he assumed that they took Timothy with them when they left the country for work. It seems a shame to leave him with a nanny this close to Christmas.
“Okay,” he says, erasing the numbers typed into his phone. “What’s your nanny’s number, then?”
“My what?” Timothy looks scandalized.
“Your babysitter? Whoever is in charge of you while your parents are gone,” he clarifies.
“I’m in charge of me when my parents are gone,” Timothy says proudly, his little chest puffing out. “I’m the Man of the House.”

Tim gets to spend Christmas with the Waynes! This will not have lasting consequences, I'm sure.
