The pirate looked at their guest: he was walking around, studying the ship for the first time and visibly trying to avoid watching them. He looked even more like a fish out of the sea than he did when he wore the captain’s robes. And yet, the strange feeling in Li Ming’s chest whenever they were close to each other never seemed to leave him. He still couldn’t put a name to it, no matter how hard he tried to, but he knew that Fate had brought them together for a reason, and he had no intention of defying it.
His voice softened as he said: “That’s alright. I have enough faith for all of us.”
