Summary
Mundane. That was the word running through Franks head as he hauled David (fucking prick bastard) King off his shoulder and skewered him on a hook. It was times like these he was thankful for the mask since it hid his bored expression as the survivor cursed him out (again). Somehow this world of hunting and murdering had killed the thrill of it all for him. The Entity had managed to make his favorite sport into just another boring chore. Like a job. That was the true evil of this place.
With out you, everything was mundane.

Time is a fickle thing in the purgatory the Entity has created for its rag tag band of killers and survivors (or would be victims). Two years ago you disappeared into the fog, and for two years they had searched endlessly to reclaim you before the Entity had claimed them instead. Long given up hope, Frank and the others had resigned themselves to your loss. Until a familiar looking survivor suddenly appears, a familiar little lamb. It feels too good to be true.
They will make you theirs again, and nothing, not the entity, the other killers, or even your own fears, will get in their way.

Héctor hadn’t been able to take his eyes off the photo, shaking hands hovering over it.
