Summary
After Queen Amidala decided to return to Naboo, Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker travel with her to continue investigating the mysterious Sith who attacked them on Tatooine. However, halfway to Naboo, Obi-Wan begins to feel that the Force is acting strangely. He hasn't realized it, or doesn't want to realize it, but he hasn't felt well for a long time. So, thanks to his always good luck, he will wake up... well, not like himself.
Or: Obi-Wan is de-aged and has issues. The Force is weird. Qui-Gon does what he can. Set in the events of The Phantom Menace.

The creature's long, pale fingers clasp an ankle, and he yanks Victor from the tent and across the ice. He does not note the unexpected lightness of his load; it is not so great a difference to one such as him.
He does, however, note the high-pitched screams emanating from the pile of furs he is dragging. “Unhand me! Unhand me at once!” a muffled voice shrieks. The creature pauses in shock. This is not Victor.

Summary
For the few weeks they’ve known him, it’s clear that Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell is a force of nature that does not tire and does not rest. That is the fact they have carved into their bones from the instant he started flying through the air as though the sky itself were his home, and made all the more true when he brought them back alive against all odds.
Maverick moves mountains. Maverick parts the sea. Maverick is the sun they turn their faces to when “don’t think, just do” races through their heads. It’s that simple.
It just is.
So it really is the weirdest thing when Hondo opens their classroom door with Cyclone and Warlock dogging his step and a kid that Bradley knows straight from his dad’s old photo album, walks in like life had handed them all the most interesting, unneeded batch of lemons they didn’t ask for.
The kid steps forward in overly large clothes with a familiar confidence and surety in his step that they’ve spent so long following.
He clears his throat. “This may be a lot to take in but it’s really me, I’m Maverick-- and no, don’t ask how this happened ‘cause I have no fucking idea.”
