ITEM: tattered unidentified scientist’s journal and research with tapes containing battered footage.
ACQUISITION: unearthed by an excavation team searching elaborate ruins above and beneath ground in a northern forest.
SUMMARY:
A transcription of the hypothesis of an unidentified field researcher pertaining to the mythical beings: the naga. Various entries are missing or unintelligible, but contents appear to be observations and first hand experiences of the researcher with a supposed naga. The journal is accompanied by five old tapes in various conditions: some only with static and others with only parts of dialogue. Transcripts of the intelligible parts of these films are placed in order with the log entries they likely pertain to.- Language:

There's nothing like a simple trip from your lovely palace to the poorer outskirts of your city which leads to one thing which then leads to another which leads to yet another and hey, when did romance come into the mix?
Neji hadn't planned for this. He hadn't planned for any of this. Looking back on it, he hadn't planned anything when he abruptly left the palace to see the outer villages of the kingdom. He's lucky a knight in shining armor came to his rescue, even if he was dressed in ragged, dirty clothes instead of polished armor.

It’s important, to form a bond with the characters of a story you read, to feel and understand them. Its another thing to loathe and love the characters you read about. For in those cases, they are no longer feel like words on a page, but a person by your side—a person like you.
When an author abandons their words—abandons the characters they created to fail in the tragic way of real life, it means they’ve abandoned far more. For two different worlds to collide through the abandonment of story on one end and the treasuring of words on another, that too is a beautiful tragedy.
