It’s a long way back home, back to stupid Greendale and his stupid - tiny - apartment and his stupidly sad life. A sort of bubble seems to have formed around him, one that’s made of quiet and cold and that dull ache he gets in his chest almost all of the time these days. Because he's hit Abed.

Summary
The raid is bloody and chaotic, the merchant ship not as harmless as she seemed at first. Izzy’s blood sings when she gets to work, slashing and parrying and making her way through. She can hear the screaming around her, the howls and the laughter – there’s always laughter in places like this, in moments where nothing is certain but death and pain.
In the end, once she’s blinded by rage and adrenaline, there’s a hand on her shoulder. She calms down, ragged breath and clenched teeth and the cutlass still in her hand, and she wants to keep hacking away, wants to puncture someone else so that they’ll hurt.
But Sam is still giggling like a kid when he ducks down to kiss her, the metallic tang of blood staining her tongue.Series
