Summary
Five years after returning from the expedition to Treasure Planet, Jim is waiting at the docks of Port Ivy with Onyx and Kate for Silver to show up with the Sunhawk so they can start their summer break. While there, he comes face to face with Scroop– well, not Scroop, but a mantavor like him, and suddenly Jim is forced to face a fear that he’s done his best to bury since returning from the voyage to Treasure Planet and relive a nightmare he’d thought he put behind him.

Summary
Five years after dropping out of the Academy to care for and raise his son, Jim is surprised to run across an old friend, Onyx, and rival, Kate, while they're on shore leave from the Navy. On a spur-of-the-moment offer to host them for dinner, the group share an evening of surprising revelations and come to realizations about each other they had never considered before. Jim and Onyx rekindle their friendship, Jim and Kate clear the air of old animosity, and they all enjoy a meal together before once more parting ways.

Summary
Almost a year after Jim transitioned from a woman to a man, Kate realizes that she's fallen in love with him. It feels as if she might die if she doesn't tell him, but she's also terrified that by confessing her feelings she'll push him away and lose her childhood friend. With a gentle push, she's able to gain the courage to tell him, and it turns out better than she could have ever dreamed.

Summary
As a lifetime resident of a popular tourist destination, Jim is relieved to enjoy some early morning surfing without having to navigated crowded waves as tourists also take advantage of the perfect conditions of the ocean swells. Meantime, long-time friends and colleagues Kate and Onyx are on an off-season friend-cation to avoid the crowds they've heard swarm to the island during the summer, and are treated to a show from an incredibly skilled surfer while they enjoy their breakfast on the beach.

Summary
A collection of pieces centered around the adventures of Jim Hawkins, John Silver, Morph, and Sarah Hawkins from treasure planet, Quasimodo from the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Prince Sidon from The Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild.
The first piece, "Treasure Every Instant", is 5 years post-canon Treasure Planet and set at the same time as the Hunchback of Notre Dame movie. Where the TP gang and Sidon help Quasi see his self-worth and take him away from Frollo and Paris.
The second piece, "Like Ordinary Men", is set 1 year after "Treasure Every Instant" and deals with everyone navigating love, found family, past trauma, and learning to go on with life.

“Officers…” Sarah’s voice wavered as her eyes darted between them, a part of her somehow expecting to see Jim standing there, sheepish and scuffed up as usual. “What brings you here?”
“We’re here to inform you that your son has been involved in an accident.”
The words hit her like a punch to the chest, knocking the air from her lungs. Her hands gripped the doorframe, her knuckles turning white as a buzzing noise filled her head.
“He is currently at Crescentia Royal Naval Hospital in critical condition. Your presence has been requested.”

Summary
After Jim and Desmond reunited in Port Ivy and made their father-son bond transparent to each other and Silver delivered both his report and several kidnapped children rescued from pirates to the Navy, all of them are keen to go to Point Del Mara. Silver worries that his Navy relay contact is in jeopardy and needs to move locations; Jim needs to meet Desmond's mother to have her sign paperwork confirming she wants no parental authority over Desmond's life anymore; and Desmond wants to go back with his oldest brother Erik to find the rest of their brothers living on the streets and make sure they weren't kidnapped by the same pirates that snagged them.
The trip on the way to Point Del Mara is uneventful, but a recent murder catches another young mantavore named Terry, one of Desmond's own brothers, at the center of it, but he claims to know the true culprit, and his intel could very well lead to one of the greatest secret threats to the Terran Empire since the ironclads at the tail end of the McCullough War. And while this is happening, Jim also has to come up with a solution for what to do about the rest of his adopted son's abandoned siblings once the threat is nullified.

The knight jolted away, scowling. Even Ganon’s touch burned his skin. Link refused to even be touched by such evil, but he didn’t have a choice. The new king of Hyrule snagged Link’s chin in his grasp, forcing their eyes to meet. “No… I plan to retrain them.”
