Summary
In a world with far more alphas and omegas being born every year, most people hypothesize that the dwindling betan birth rates are due to evolution removing something unnecessary. Possessing senses of smell too weak to detect all the nuances in pheromones and being sterile from birth, the useless beta subgender cannot have a true mate, seeing as it is so incompatible with the procreation process. Add some PTSD from childhood abuse and assault, emotional baggage from a failed relationship, and a sprinkle of suicidal ideation (that feels more and more like an elbow accidentally knocking over the salt shaker and turning his sprinkle into a waterfall), and you’ve got beta Changbin's current state of being. He’s handling everything really well if you were wondering.

Summary
Hwang Hyunjin is one of the best screamers of his generation. Changbin knew he had gold between his hands when he met the guy. He couldn't let him go and tried his best to make him feel welcome in the band. They needed a new singer and Hyunjin proved the best among every candidates.
But this tour proves difficult. Hyunjin's issues are worsening. His drug use and alcohol consumption is at its peak. Thanks to the bigger acts, Hyunjin can get anything he wants. Not a day passes without him being high out of his mind and drunk. It takes its toll on the band but it's Changbin's job to deal with it. It's his job to handle Hyunjin and take the brunt of his abuse.
