Summary
Zuko has been stuck for months in meetings with ambassadors and diplomats, half of them wanting his head, everyone expecting him to suddenly have a solution for a 100 years of disasters, and he feels like he has not slept in weeks. So yes. He might be a teeny tiny bit miffed.
His head is pounding and his eyes feel heavy. He moves up a hand to rub at them, part tiredness, part frustration and oh. Oops.In the midst of all the shouting, Zuko’s eye falls from its socket and lands with a small, thunderous thunk on the table in front of him.
Tldr: Zuko is tired and has been working his butt off in the peace talks post-war, and he forgot that when you have growth spurts, your prosthetic does NOT grow with you. In turn, he manages to give every dignitary a heart attack, which his friends very much enable. Oops?

"“Loft 3B,” the app reads, followed by the note, “elevator broken–sorry!” Eddie groans internally at it, but decides to follow through anyway. It's a $30 order with a $15 tip and it’s only about a 3 minute car ride from the restaurant even in LA traffic. He thinks the sad face emoji with the message is a bold move for someone who lives in an Echo Park high rise with stairs so steep he’s surprised it hasn’t ended in a lawsuit. But, something has to pay the bills."
Or, Eddie is a DoorDash driver and Buck is apartment bound after an injury at work... cue love at first delivery.

“Buck,” Eddie murmurs, and Buck loves the way his lips curl around the word—Buck, like he’s saying the name of a lover. His name’s always been safe in Eddie’s mouth. “Buck.”
“What’d you want?” Buck asks, helpless to keep his gaze from darting to Eddie’s lips. Shiny and pink, that scar on his lips the bane of Buck’s fucking existence. He’s dangerously close to dipping down and just biting it.
“You really have to ask?” Eddie says, high and breathless. “All these years and you still have to ask?” His eyes are so, so clear, not the barest hint of a doubt in them. This is a man that knows what he wants, and Buck is coming undone—every thread that keeps him whole unravelling with every breath.
“Eddie,” Buck whispers.
“How long are you gonna make me wait?” Eddie tugs on his curls again, and Buck’s elbows buckle, putting him an inch away from Eddie’s lips. An inch. “How many years until I can put a ring on it, baby?”

Buck stopped short, breath halting as if Eddie had stuck a knife between his ribs.—
or, Post 8x08, Buck and Eddie deal poorly with their feelings, and Buck gets shot. Not necessarily in that order.
