Summary
Production isn't quite a normal town. Sure, there's the normal tumbleweeds and the occasional dust-covered porch, but people often wonder if there's something more. Something hidden behind the thumping of old boots and dirt-covered flannel. Sometimes you can hear the whispers of secrets kept too well behind the sound of old rusty hinges.
Something here needs fixing. Something here is wrong.

Summary
Dying, trapped in a crack in the world, Jayce has lost almost everything- save the memories. And in the darkness those come out in terrible, technicolor clarity. Every victory, every failure, how it all began- and how it ended. Every single time he stepped over the edge. Every time he fell.
(Jayce hadn't thought anything of him at first- easy to overlook an unwanted bureaucrat- easier still, to overlook a cripple.)
(Something sly about it, the cast of that pale face. Just how bright those golden eyes were, in the black. They seemed to catch the light, reflecting it back, like those of a young fox.)
Of course, falling didn't always hurt. Once, he had fallen in love.
