    It's close to the new year, and now independent detective Yuma Kokohead has decided to take a break from work to visit Kanai Ward. To see the city's progress and maybe pay a visit to his homunculus and the city's Leader, Makoto Kagutsuchi. But upon returning he finds out that the CEO has been very ill and is barely able to function on his own. Yuma is about to experience being a caretaker for the first time in his life, and to his own double. He also finds out more things about about Makoto's past and how much pain he has endured for years all alone. And as the top detective, Yuma is determined to find a solution to help him.

    Makoto rescues Yuma from drowning and takes him back to his penthouse. But there's a problem, he's become ill as a result and needs to be tended to. Makoto sees his small attempts at nursing him to health as an opportunity to establish a possible form of trust between the two. All for his own benefit of course.

    (Story takes Place Post Chapter 2 as an alternate first meeting between the two, but because most of the story is from Makoto's perspective, THERE ARE HUGE SPOILERS FOR THE ENTIRE GAME!! Please do not read unless you finish the game!!)
