Xeno felt how the magic power on the other side of the mirror was weakening every day, relentlessly approaching the hour when his prince would not be able to remain protected by his small but stubborn spell.
The metal tips on his fingers, like claws, slowly traced across the mirrored surface, as if trying to break through the veil that separated them.
He had waited long enough, and the reward should have been a thousand times more satisfying than this long, maddening wait.
Xeno felt almost sorry for the fate of his beloved student, who was trapped. It was a great pity that he was the one who held the key to this cage.
Ah, Senku, you have nowhere to run.
The man smirked, narrowing his black eyes and leaving, the room became empty and endlessly dark again.
Suddenly, the window in the tower made a quiet creak, letting in a light breeze of night air. With it, two figures silently slipped inside, quickly darting in.
Senku looked up at this man and woman, the first people he had seen in months of imprisonment here, apart from the two.
What was a pity, Xeno: he was lucky this time.

Summary
Kyoko Hana was known as the Rising Star of medicine, mainly due to her outstanding memory. However after getting kicked out of the medical program she was a part of her dreams of becoming the greatest surgeon are long over. Or are they? Waking up in a stone world anyone with any medical knowledge is quite valuable and nobody seems to care why exactly she had to stop working on her dreams.
It's a changed story following the anime/manga of Dr. Stone with an addition of a character.
