Summary
In where Hinata is constantly overwhelmed by the metallic blue in Kageyama's eyes and Kageyama can only click his tongue at Hinata's inability to be subtle (while blushing rouge but that has nothing to do with Hinata, not at all).
(alternatively, Hinata is a new student in America and their ethnicity is the only thing they have in common).

Summary
It appears that the set has ended – though there’s no scoreboard so who knows who’s keeping track – and Hinata turns to his beach volleyball partner, removing his sunglasses with one smooth movement and- oh dear.
Tobio might need to go and lay down on that smooth rock a few feet away to try and calm down.
Because Hinata is smiling – bright and wide and infuriatingly perfect – and Tobio had kind of forgotten what it was like to be burnt by sunbeams.
Hinata Shouyou stands there, on the beach, with a cap that his new, shorter hair pokes out the sides of in tufts, with fitted shorts and a beautiful smile and-
Arms.
Nice arms.
Very nice arms.
-
In which Kageyama sneaks onto the beach in Brazil to watch Hinata play, and becomes just a little, just a teensy bit obsessed with his new shoulders.

Summary
So Shouyou swallows it down and keeps it to himself and because he is a terrible, greedy thing he holds onto the feelings. Never lets them fade nor pass, a love that he clings to with all the ferocity that he can muster.
He can’t have Kageyama, but that doesn’t mean he has to stop being in love with him.
Perhaps, that too, is selfishness.
-
In which Hinata must learn when he cannot, and when he absolutely can, indulge in his inclination to be selfish.

Summary
But Kageyama’s a cool dork, and Shouyou sort of wants to tell him this in a burst of emotion, but the words get stuck. “I want two by the way,” he says instead.
“Why do you get two?”
“Because I,” Shouyou says dramatically, “am your favourite.”
Then he rocks up onto his tippy toes so that he can reach Kageyama’s face, his body moving without consent from his brain. He plants a smooch – quick and playful – on Kageyama’s cheek, only just remembering to add a loud “mwah!” to make sure Kageyama knows that he’s only teasing.
-
In which Hinata gives Kageyama five kisses, without thinking much about it, and one where he does.
