Queenie is the newly engaged soon to be Queen of the Black Chess kingdom. Her fiancé, Kingston is an attractive, powerful man but Queenie just can't stand him. He is cocky and full of himself. Possessive, bossy and just overall rude.
When these two chess pieces meet at Queenie and Kingston's engagement party, they both realise which royal they truly want to marry.
But how can these star-crossed lovers be together when their circumstances just won't allow it??
