The Purple Prose book shop and cafe was usually a fun, peaceful place to work. That is, until a certain problematic customer arrives:
Ryomen Sukuna.
He was the record shop owner from directly across the street, a store called the Vinyl Shrine. And he was the kind of customer feared by retail workers everywhere: Surly. Foul mouthed. Easily provoked.
A bonafide bastard.
Ryomen Sukuna was *that* customer. And the only 2 people in the book shop who could stand dealing with him were Itadori, his nephew, and Gojo, the shop owner.
And of course, the 2 shop owners absolutely loathed each other…
So begins our quaint little tale of a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad coffee spill that kicks off an ongoing war between 2 shops and their respective owners. Two people who hate each other in real life, but who, due to a strange twist of fate, end up falling for one another on the written page…
