In hindsight, Gerard probably should have at least turned on the sink or something. With how many times he'd relapsed into his eating disorder he’d gained the ability to purge almost silently, but he really didn't think Frank was going to be outside the door listening to him.
“Open the fucking door gerard!” Frank’s voice was loud, door handle rattling as he shook it from outside the bathroom. Gerard ignored him, tears burning his eyes and he forced himself to throw up again. He tried to convince himself that he was tearing up from the purging, but deep down Gerard felt insanely guilty about the entire situation. Frank didn’t deserve to have to deal with him.

“The fucking tech guy Pete?” Patrick shouted, giving up on finding what he was looking for as he dropped his bag on the floor in front of him. He stepped over it, coming to stand in the bathroom doorway. “That's not ‘spending time with people’, that's you being an attention whore.”
Pete huffed, pointedly not looking at Patrick as he messed with his hair. “Maybe if you gave me enough attention I wouldn't have to find it somewhere else…” He mumbled, and Patrick didn't miss the slightest hint of genuine hurt in Pete's tone.
“No amount of attention is enough for you Pete.” Patrick said before he could stop himself. Pete’s arms fell to his side as he finally turned around, his expression unreadable as he stared at Patrick.
“Fuck you” He said, shoving past Patrick and leaving the hotel room, slamming the door behind him. Patrick thought about following him but decided against it. Pete just needed time to cool down and realize he was being a dick.

Something was still off about Charlie. Not just physically or emotionally. There was an aura to him, it was almost unnoticeable but Patrick was able to pick up on it. It was like Charlie wasn't himself. He seemed younger in a way, and Patrick couldn't stop focusing on it.

He would always be so excited to rush outside and play in the snow, but would quickly grow tired and overstimulated and it never ended well. Patrick knew he wouldn't be able to change Pete's mind though, so there was nothing he could do except let him play outside and deal with whatever happens after.
