Summary
Getting stuck in Kaedwen in winter had never been on Jaskier's plan. It's cold, they don't appreciate his music and nobody likes their national beverage anyway. The only redeeming thing Kaedwen has is Kaer Morhen, so Jaskier does what any reasonable bard would do in this situation: he decides to charm his way into Kaer Morhen to hibernate with Geralt and the other witchers. If nothing it will be an experience no human has ever had, fuel for songs and poems for years to come, while finally teaching him a thing or two about witchers he's just dying to know.
Curiosity tended to kill the cat, but Jasker had always seen himself as more of a bird anyway.

Summary
Jaskier hopped down from the table he had been standing on, and wound his way quickly through the crowd to Geralt’s side, smiling up at him big and bright and like nothing had ever happened.
Geralt remembered the last words he’d exchanged with the bard, tone cruel and desperate and bitter. He could see Jaskier’s face as he said them. That feeling in his chest tightened and twisted and writhed uncomfortably.-
I've seen so many angsty takes on Geralt and Jaskier navigating their fight on the mountain, but I really wanted to come at that idea from a different angle. So, Geralt feels super bad about everything he said on the mountain and is EXPECTING a huge blowup from Jaskier, but then Jaskier just forgives and forgets like it's nothing and they're travelling together again like usual and why does Geralt still feel kinda shitty about all this?
Basically, Geralt learns about feeling guilty, and how sometimes apologies are as much for yourself as they are the other person.

It’s during an upbeat evening on his second night with a rowdy crowd that the unexpected happens. The door to the tavern bangs open, hitting the wall with a crack, and in staggers a sopping wet figure with two sword hilts poking over his shoulder and the head of a royal wyvern clutched in his fist.
“Killed your dragon,” the figure rasps, and if his silhouette in the doorway wasn’t enough to give him away, Jaskier would recognize that rough voice anywhere.

Summary
Jaskier is trying to convince Geralt to keep him around. He's finally getting to the interesting part of the real Continent, and it's all because of his taciturn demigod of a tour guide. He's never had so much fun in his post-academic career.
Geralt is trying just as hard to convince himself that keeping Jaskier around is a terrible idea, and that's only getting more difficult. He's getting used to having company, to indulging in the pack instincts that Vesemir always warned him against.
The last person Geralt wants to see in the middle of this psycho-emotional crisis is Lambert.
Lambert brings with him a host of other problems, like how to hunt a monster that isn't a monster and how to casually have sex with the man you're trying not to fall in love with. But if Lambert and Jaskier are going to jointly insist on the bard following them into danger, he can at least prepare Jaskier for it.

Geralt was still and thought a moment before he answered. “That isn’t usually what people want from me.”
“Yes, but people are tragically unimaginative. No one is only one thing. Least of all you.”
“I suppose that’s true,” answered Geralt.

This is a travel of feelings, a slow-burn romance where you'll see all kinds of love and friendship, with a brave and strong Jaskier as the main guest. Because I love him so fucking much it hurts me.Love is my poison and this is a story of that, basically.

Summary
The witchers of Kaer Morhen have never been comfortable with gentle touches. It just isn't who they are. But when Geralt arrives to spend the winter with his brothers looking more relaxed than any of them have felt in years, all due to the affection of a human bard, Lambert and Eskel grow curious. They wonder what it would be like to be touched or held without fear.
When Lambert runs into Jaskier in a small town in Redania, it's the safest he's felt in years. He and his brothers need touch and kindness more than they're willing to admit, and all Jaskier wants it to help , if only the witchers would let him.
Geralt and Jaskier are together, all the other relationships are platonic with a good helping of touch-starvation on the side.

Jaskier’s eyes were entirely blood red, the same way Yennefer’s had been when she was possessed by the djinn, but the veins bulging from his skin, red as blood, had Geralt sickened. It used Jaskier’s voice to speak. There was an undercurrent of something much lower but all Geralt could hear was his bard.
And the way Jaskier’s face contorted into a sneer… Geralt could only think his friend was gone. It would be a mercy to kill him now.
