An Au where a younger (and therefore somewhat less “severe”) Jasnah has an romance with Kaladin. But it's more than that, the story rearranges events and takes advantage of those changes and the relationship to develop interactions, conflicts and moments of its own that feel natural and interesting in this universe. It makes it feel different and its own but faithful to the original story in broad strokes. If you want to try a rare ship this is a great place.

Consequently many plots are altered but follow the basic ideas of the original series, but with a twist for the new context and to make some plots more logical and congruent. The duels are secondary to the plot but are important for the lore, especially the monster spirits. Plus: If you're a fan of Asuka/Alexis x Juudai/Jaden, their dynamic here is cute.

A story about the post-Azure Moon world, each character has their moment, my favourites were Ferdinand, Ash, Bernadette and Yuri, but they all have something to offer. Maybe I would have liked a few more cameos from Rea but I loved everything the story had to offer.
