“Honey.” Kento coaxed, “Talk to me. Please.” The blunt end of the blade dug into your palm, the sharper end slicing effortlessly through your tender unhealed skin from the previous encounters, and a wince fell past your lips, your composure with it. In the quiet silence, deafening were your trembling cries.
Maybe you were babbling some incoherent stream of apologies, a compelling stream of, ‘sorry’s to the love of your life sitting on the other end of the line. Maybe you were just gripping the razor in one hand and your phone in the other, unable to tell the truth that you were on the end of your rope. Anything could be a weapon if you tried hard enough, a cutting edge you could carve in yourself because freedom never came when you stepped past the door. Peace wasn’t a dish on your menu either, because what was the dinner table if not a war zone?
It was from that battleground that the spiral had started.

Summary
An alternate universe what if, where what if Yuji and his grandfather had a small house and rented the second floor to salaryman Nanami Kento.
Nanami just wanted quiet and a yard to sit in when exhausted from his boring job. He didn't expect to have the owner's grandson imprint on him like a puppy. But Nanami finds that he doesn't mind being adopted as family by Yuji.
And when the worst comes to pass, both curses and the higher ups at Jujutsu High better be prepared for how far Nanami will go for his son.
