When he was nothing but a quirkless child, one who’s friend had just turned his back on him, leaving him heart-broken and bruised on the grassy floor of the park. Curled up on the floor, sobbing quietly next to the sand pit is where he met him. He came up to Izuku, crouching down by the boy with a smile stretching across his face. Izuku curled tighter, trying to hide his face from the man in front of him, but when the man spoke, he looked up.
“Here, child,” The man was watching him with unblinking eyes, offering Izuku a kind, helpful hand. “Those burns must hurt. Why don’t I patch those up for you?”
