Summary
Tommy is the only one in the entire family that doesn’t know that his dad, the one and only Philza Craft runs The Syndicate. AKA the most powerful mafia in the entire city. Phil intends to keep it that way for as long as possible, having his other sons Technoblade and Wilbur already a part of the family business. They all agreed not to get Tommy involved until he was ready.
Turns out Wilbur and Techno didn’t actually care about that agreement and started teaching their younger brother the ‘tricks of the trade’ years ago and Phil is just now finding out about this. Who in the world teaches a 14 year old how to hot-wire a car?
Or
SBI Mafia AU following Tommy’s adventures as an unknowing mafia prince and all the skills and shenanigans he and his brothers got up to without him ever putting two and two together. Plus, Tommy's best friend may or may not be the son of Schlatt, the head of the competing mafia in the city. “Dad! Dad help!” Wilbur’s shrill cries of panic sent Phil barreling back into the room from where he had stood guard outside the door to the ICU room. His gun found his way into his hand on instinct, like it had always been there, led by the wrath of a father who’d lost his son once and was never going to let that happen again.
OR: Wilbur may have been saved from his kidnapping and now aware of the fact that his dad runs The Syndicate, the most powerful mafia in SMP, but that doesn't mean there isn't a long road of recovery left for them both.

Summary
Philza ran the Syndicate, the most powerful mafia in the country. With this comes certain rules and expectations he's set for the underground world he runs. Only Techno, his oldest son knows the family secret. 13-year-old Wilbur does not, but that doesn't mean he's free from the consequences of this fact. When Wilbur is kidnapped by a newly rising mafia in the city the rules of the game change. The Syndicate can fall and Philza must do everything within his power to keep it afloat and save his son. Meanwhile, Wilbur must try and stay alive long enough for his dad to come and save him. Yet, there's one question he can't figure out the answer to, what is the Syndicate and why is he involved?
OR, the Wilbur backstory so many of you have been requesting from my other fic Apologize for Collateral Damage. This fic does work as a stand alone! (Aka I do not have time to do a full Whumptober so you are all getting this)

Summary
Techno is the only agent The Syndicate has that can pull off being a university student for this mission. Despite his protests, Techno enrolls at L'Manburg University to steal information on the highly secretive and very profitable nuclear research headed by Dr. Schlatt and his two research assistants. Only one of his classmate's catches onto Techno's role far too early and a decision has to be made on the fate of one Tommy Innit who Techno is convinced is a spy for the rival organization XD.
Wilbur has always been the silver-tongued agent for the XD Organization. He's swooned missile codes and set up wars before ever finishing a glass of champagne at a party. When he's set to collect the research being done at L'Manburg University he assumes it's going to be an easy task. Only to get distracted by a certain blond and the suspiciously competent 'Dave' that seem to keep getting in his way.
OR, Tommy really needed help on his English essays and gets pulled into a world of espionage that James Bond made look way cooler.

But when the villain world finds out that the weapon isn't something, but instead someone, it's only a matter of time till one of them gets their hands on him. “Sure thing, kiddo,” Schlatt told Tubbo. He looked over at Tommy. “You can take your cloak off if you want, kid.”
“I’m not a kid,” Tommy said automatically, immediately gripping onto his cloak more tightly.
He didn’t want Tubbo to hate him. As much as Tommy hated to admit it, he actually liked Tubbo quite a bit, and if he took the cloak off, Tommy was sure to be cast out immediately.
Or, Tommy runs away from Dream, hiding his wings from everyone he knows.

“How old are you?” Technoblade asked.
“Fifteen,” the boy said, jutting out his sharp little chin as if to compensate for the whole head of height he lacked next to the second shortest boy in the row. Technoblade felt a headache prickling at his temples.
“I will ask that again. Think of your answer carefully this time. How old are you?”
The boy looked up. He had eyes the color of sky before dawnbreak, and fire in them that burned more fiercely than a star newly born.
“I'm fifteen, sir,” he repeated without a shade of doubt. “Old enough for war.”

When Commander Technoblade is given a soldier to train who is clearly much too young, he makes everything in his power to make him leave. Unfortunately for him, Tommy is stubborn. Phil has an amusing time watching Technoblade trying not to get attached to the kid (and failing miserably). Somehow it turns into a story of learning to live and letting go.
