After defeating Megatron and dispersing the Allspark (at the end of Season 1) the Autobots and Sari are about to take a chance to rest and look for the missing Mr. Sumdac when they are teleported to a strange theater.
An entity known as an Observer wishes for them to learn another version of themselves to better themselves for their future.
Optimus and the others are unsure, but take this chance to learn and see what the heroes they can truly become.
Unbeknownst to them, they weren't the only ones transported too.

Summary
Melancholy Hill didn't grow up wanting to attain a criminal record, intentional as her crimes were. But after serving time for a case of assault and battery, despite missing the manic euphoria her acts of carnage gave her, she's ready to start her life over.
Until a mysterious mark in a graveyard sends her tumbling into a rotting hellish world known as The Gaslight District, where angelic spies refer to her as unholy. Taken in by Ken the Butcher and his gang, the Smiling Dead, Mel is forced to hide her identity and blend in among them. Which becomes harder and harder as the angelic forces watching them suspect a human has arrived.
As Mel grows accustomed to a world where sin runs rampant, death means nothing, and consequences are felt throughout the eons, she takes to her new criminal life like a fish to water. Once she gets past the garbage and smell of rotting flesh, that is.
But the Virtues aren't too intent on letting the harbinger of the apocalypse roam as free as she'd like.

Ken watches on the dock as a pair of scared red eyes disappears into the murky depths below. Cementing is a brutal form of execution; the victim’s arms and legs are bound in blocks of cement, and they’re tossed in the ocean. With no means of escaping back up to the surface, they’re allowed the brief mercy of drowning before being pulled right back into consciousness, choking on another gasp of black water until they drown again, and the cycle continues for eternity. The Smiling Dead has done this to others before, usually rival gang members or those foolish enough to try and cross them. But this is the first time Ken’s ever had to do this to one of his own.

around 12-13 years old here)During a scrap run, Nori runs into N. However instead of finding a murder drone ready to stab her with nanite acid, she finds nothing more than a lump of his torso and part of his head, having been ripped apart by J after a particularly bad hunt. What's worse is that the remainder of his head is crying.
Nori gets to talking to him (mom instincts) and
upon the realization that the Solver sent an actual fucking child to come and slaughter his own kind, she decides "fuck that shit", and drags him back to the bunker to live in safety with the Workers.Uzi needs a friend her age anyway"
