Dennis can feel the way his face is burning, even the tips of his ears and tries to duck down and hide. But that just makes it worse when he remembers what he’s wearing and how it must look for him to be essentially hiding in his attending’s hoodie.
Trinity is still smirking at him, arms crossed as she doesn’t even try to hide her laughter.
“Shut up,” he hisses under his breath but it only makes her laugh harder. “Oh my god.”

By the end of the week, Dennis was entangled in his first, as Trinity put it, situationship, and by the following Monday, rumors were already roaring through the PTMC like wildfire. Dennis was wrapping up a patient chart, knee bouncing restlessly. He’d sat at the first empty work station he came across, which happened to be Dr. Robby’s, and the same man had come up behind him a minute later, clearing his throat dramatically and resting a heavy hand on his shoulder, seemingly subconsciously working loose the tense muscle settled in it with strong, expert fingers. “Sorry, Dr. Robby. I’ll- Five minutes tops, I’m almost-” A quick, unidentifiable call of his name sent Robby off toward it, and Dennis sighed with sudden relief.
A moment later, a tall, handsome blur swept into his peripheral vision, and soon after soft words were ghosting over Dennis’s ear as Jesse’s chin came to rest on his shoulder. “Hey, Den. Lunch is here.”

It takes a beat and the lack of response from Robby to realize what he actually said.
Dennis accidentally talks about his nipples in front his attending and instead of getting sent to HR for sexual harassment training, he ends up with an invitation to a dinner date. With said attending. Santos is trying her best to understand the absurd relationship between her boss and her roommate. Everyone else in The Pitt is betting on it.
