Summary
There is always a sense of wonder when one reaches theirs goals, especially if said goals seemed impossible. Getting revenge after a lifetime of wrong, standing at the top of a company after starting as a janitor. Accomplishing such things leaves one soaring high in their lives until a single question blindsides them.
What now?
That was the question that plagued the Lamb after his triumph over heretics and death alike. His cult thrived and expanded, his word second to none and his reign absolute over the land. Yet countless years spent nurturing and appeasing his flock has left him weary and eager for an opportunity to forego his responsibilities for the briefest of moments. The Lamb knew this was nigh impossible, for what cult could function without a leader? Despite knowing this, he still prayed for a break from his taxing work.
Until one day, his prayers were answered in the form of a weathered grimoire.

Greg Heffely was, in fact, to absolutely no one’s shock, a rather strange kid.
Whether it was the weird lack of talking, the absurd amount of times that teachers and classmates had found him in a tree eating lunch, the month-long periods where he wouldn’t utter a single noise, maybe it was because he (at least according to rumors) had straight A’s and a 4.0 GPA with barely participating outside of filling out work.
or it was because he only had one friend(?), Rowley Jefferson, who was the only person he was ever seen outside of school with, and even then that was rare, as he seemed to only tolerate him at best as the kid talked his ear off.
He had rightfully earned his reputation of being a “the wimpy kid” or “the weird kid”, and he was content with it, it just meant people left him alone.
Only if Bryce Anderson, the king of the sophomores, or second year high school students, understood that.

Hiii. I'm sososo easy to get on the bandwagon, so here's a project hail mary + Iron lung fic.
A clumsy earth scientist and a hyper-intelligent Eridian space rock find a new, tree in their backyard. Also, there's some sort of man-made object stuck in it, and it's gushing blood. We may be muddling the genre, here...
AKA: Two once-lone space heroes meet a third- who's mission hadn't been so successful.
This is not a bloodymary romance fic at this time, mostly because my eyes glaze over every time one of these reaches the romance part and I can't read it anymore lol. We'll see where it goes.
Marked Mature mostly because I may be getting pretty icky with the descriptions! I follow the SFX guy for iron lung on insta, so.. be prepared for that
