I honestly do not know where I am going with this. It's 1am, and I got bored. Basically, Dean went to hell before ever meting Sam at Stanford. He never dragged him off on a hunt, Sam had left, and Dean was too ashamed. Felt too unheard and abandoned to ever think about facing Sam again. Dean, instead of entering Sam's life once again, became a ghost. He stayed with John who eventually left, uncaring of his eldest pain. Everyone had left Dean; he was abandoned by the people he loved the most. Soon the depression weighed too heavily, which lead to both Bobby and Dean carrying a disturbing secret. Dismayingly though, Dean died and burned. Castiel saved him, but an accident occurred. Leaving Dean utterly mutated, a hybrid of an angel and a human. Something that's never happen, deemed impossible. For this, all of heaven and hell ordered Dean to be obliterated. But Castiel, finding a new friend refused. It was just the two of them, against all. And Dean never felt safer. Until Cas disappeared and Jessica burned. Now he must join forces with two people he isn't sure who to call.

Summary
Dean has been betrayed and hurt by everyone around him. Because of this, he can't act on his submissive tendencies which makes him extremely sick... The worst case Cas has ever seen.
The world thinks he's a lost cause, but Cas is willing to try and save his life. Only one problem: Dean is feisty and refuses to be helped. He fights and runs every chance he gets, hurting himself in the process. He has no reason to trust Cas, which makes his recovery unlikely. Though, maybe Cas can change that (:
Basically, Dean being sick and injured and Cas caring for him. Not always consensually tho. Hence 'Forced Care' tag. Then eventually they grow to love each other and its really sweet. (not complete but working on it, very very very slow, slow burn, so dont be surprised when it takes ages for them to start to trust each other)

The life that Dean lived was not selfish, he was potentially one of the most selfless people to walk the earth. Afterall, there is a reason why heaven calls him the righteous man. To be righteous is to be virtuous, synonymous with the concept of being worthy.
