Summary
Central City, California is beautiful, but it’s not where Johnny wants to be – and he’s not who he wants to be, either. Inspired by the recent return of Spider-Man, Johnny convinces the newly minted Fantastic Four to return to the Baxter Building, the site of the incident that gave them their powers. But not everything is what it seems, and worse yet, Spider-Man wants nothing to do with the Human Torch.
In the wake of Gwen’s death, Peter has finally put the mask back on, but nothing’s the same as it once was, and the thrill has gone out of Spider-Man. The Fantastic Four’s arrival only makes everything worse. The Human Torch is good looking, he’ll give him that much, but Peter has no plans of making friends. A series of strange attacks and a fateful encounter on the docks may not leave him much choice.

EXCERPT:
Sam Wilson walked through the streets of London, watching the jarring mix of new and old; buildings hundreds of years old and newly created; wide gridded streets and narrow, winding alleyways.
Sam had been to many cities in his search for Bucky Barnes.
Well.
He had been to many cities as he visited Bucky Barnes, really.
Sam found him the first time around.
Lounging in a hole in the wall deep in the heart of Prague.
Low lighting; his face only lit really by a candle on the small booth he sat at.
Intense eyes on Sam.
Sipping on something Bucky would later say was a Czech Mule; a fascinating cocktail that tasted like Christmas.
Bucky hadn't been ready for Steve to know where he was then.
Sam doubted he was now.
And.
Sam was a little selfish. He liked his days with Bucky. He liked talking with him. He like - he liked getting to know the man. And there was part of Sam that just wanted to keep it that way.
A little bubble.
Only for Sam and Bucky.

It wasn’t that Kacchan wasn’t strong; on the contrary, Izuku has used his entirely unnecessary explosive gauntlets in battle before, and there was no way that someone who could wield those monstrosities on a regular basis and not suffer from the aching shoulder soreness that he had experienced afterward could ever be considered anything other than terrifyingly powerful.
It wasn’t that Kacchan wasn’t strong - but…
Watching him struggle to open a basic jar of pesto was still incredibly disconcerting. Izuku quite literally couldn’t stop himself from staring.
