Ashford tourney was nothing more than an unnecessary waste of people’s money. To deny and defy the abuse of power, a group called Grey Cloak planned an attack during the tourney, or to be more specific, the trial of seven. At first, they meant no harm. The ultimate purpose of this attack was to make the Crown Prince - Baelor Targaryen - aware of what’s happened to poor folks outside his castle’s wall. Then the plan didn’t go as they had expected, forcing them to take prince Valarr Targaryen - Baelor’s eldest son and heir - hostage. The Grey Cloaks had no idea that Valarr wasn’t an easy hostage. And the young prince himself was completely clueless that among these strange people, he would find something more than just disagreement and hatred.
