Summary
In anticipation for the upcoming March 4th Crossover, and the return of Jay Halstead and Hailey Upton, I wanted to dig into the archives and re-release a story from back in the day!
This is Blinding Lights, a story that begins right after the conclusion of 1003 and sends everyone in to many worlds unknown. This is a story about winding roads, twisty turny thoughts and mental spirals, and a little whump along the way. This one is a ride like no other, but then again isn't that what fanfic is for?! It's a story of redemption, second chances, and holding on to belief and hope that one day those blinding lights of life will guide you to the proper path home.

Summary

But that's because Jay has undergone years of specialist training, he can take down suspects twice his size and outrun all the other members of the unit. He's pushed himself time and time again and always fights his way out of it.
So what happens when the fight isn't an outside force he's trained to takedown, what if instead the fight comes from within. When his body betrays itself and leaves him to pick up the pieces.
