Mami had a musket pointed at Madoka, Madoka had a bow pointed at Kyoko, Kyoko had her spear wrapped around Mabayu, Mabayu was ready to throw her scissors at Kirika, Kirika had her claws posed to disembowel Sayaka, Sayaka had a cutlass to Oriko’s neck, and Oriko’s orbs were ready to blast Mami in the head. Homura, meanwhile, stared in confusion as all seven of the other magical girls screamed at the same time.
“Homura is MINE!”
This entire situation left Homura with only one question.
“How the hell did this happen?” Homura thought to herself.

Constant repeated suffering finally made Homura snap.
One day, after the end of a particularly depressing time loop, she decided to treat the next timeline as a vacation of some sort, focusing on reaching one goal or activities she might find fun in.
…After 3 months worth of 'vacation', she got way too into it. Whoops.
And here, in the latest timeline, she decided on being… Mami’s friend. With her own hands. Without the help of connections or anything like that. Just went straight up and be her friend. Sounds scandalous (to her), but that was probably what makes it exciting (to her).
Things went better than she expected, though. Perhaps a bit too much.
Inspired by Mitakihara Anti-Materials, this fanfic is a light-hearted story involving the titular rare pair navigating their day to day life as they ended up living together.
