    Summary

Rook was good at killing people - or spying on them, depending on what the job called for. What Rook wasn't great at was planning how to kill his own gods, deal with an ex-lover that will not take no for an answer, have another god in his head, and oh. Yeah. Spend time in an underwater prison where they literally shove a Demon of Vice into him. That was fun.

At least, though, he got to rescue the Demon of Vyrantium, who he might have watched with awe and a bit of a crush since he was thirteen, and he's working with capable people. Good people. They can do this.

If Elgar'nan would stop deciding that Rook and his sort of demon were excellent replacements for Falon'Din and Dirthamen. He's not a god, just a Crow.

    Summary

Dragon Age: The Veilguard, if many earlier Dragon Age characters showed up to help. And by help, we mean advise, criticise, break hearts, wreak havoc, practice seduction, raise griffons, reminisce about the (uncensored) events of the Inquisition era, and practice blood magic (as a treat).

Rook lusts after Ellana Lavellan, Ellana Lavellan misses Solas, Felassan squats in the music room, and Solas might seriously reconsider breaking out of the Regret Realm if this is what the Lighthouse looks like now.

(This will ultimately be a Rook/Ellana Lavellan/Solas/Felassan fic, but it takes a while to get there. They need to conquer jealousy and two Fuckelves first.)

    Summary

Davrin and Rook get off spectacularly on the wrong foot. He doesn't trust her and tries to take her to Weisshaupt, which does not go over well. With the griffons missing, and an ongoing crisis threatening all of Thedas, they’ll have to find a way to put their differences - and similarities - aside and work together. It won’t be easy, but perhaps with time, they can learn to tolerate each other, maybe more than they had planned.

    Summary

“Hi Manfred,” Rook says. “Nice to meet you!”
Rook looks like most people look. She is person-shaped and has a head with hair, but beneath that, she is brimming with curiosity. He feels drawn to her, in the same way he had been drawn to Emmrich once – when Manfred was shiny and small and not yet called Manfred. He has a good feeling about this. It’s new. It's exciting. He already agrees with her.
Nice to meet you too! he hisses.

    ***

Short and sweet scenes showing Manfred’s perspective on events of the Veilguard, and on the budding romance between Emmrich and Rook.
