Summary
What would happen if Will Byers was never found during the events of Stranger Things season 1? How would he survive the upside down? How would the people of Hawkins react?
Will breathed in a ragged breath. Black smoke poured from his mouth as he tore himself free from the wall. He collapsed forward, coughing and gasping on the cold, moist floor.
His heart pounded in his ears as he shakily scrambled to his feet. Eyes darting around the abyss, he started to run. And he ran, and ran, and ran.
His feet pounded on the ground when suddenly he found himself on a familiar path. Finally, something familiar. Will sprinted through the woods, as a feeling of hope filtered its way through the panic. He was getting there, he was gonna be safe, it was finally within reach.
Castle Byers.
The pain in his chest and legs screamed at him to rest, but he couldn't risk stopping. He pushed himself further, calves aching with each step. Suddenly, a loud screech echoed through the air from somewhere up ahead.

Summary
Will was an incredible best friend.
It was easy to lean back into the couch from his poised edge and let himself be swallowed, “too bad we broke up anyway.” Maybe it was a self pitying and selfish statement but Mike was feeling needy today. Letting the previous night alongside today's emotions take control was so simple, like falling back into a lazy boy with the TV lighting the evening.
At the tipping back into the couch Mike had retreated into the safety of his mind- that was plain as day to the onlooker. For Will this was dangerous as it was usually when the dumbest of Mike’s thoughts decided to surface.
“If only I could date you instead,” Mike’s eyes were lazily tracing the slight contour of old paint on the ceiling, “you’re perfect for me.”
Will and Mike are friends. Best friends. Both of them are determined to fix their broken relationship when the Byers family moves into the Wheeler household after the "earthquake." Except they've both grown up since the Byers moved to California and things are different- really different.

“I do not recall telling you my name.” Viktor stated matter-of-factly. “Yet you know it. Have we met?” Yes. Many times. Practically lived together inside their lab, but he couldn’t tell Viktor that. No, this Viktor had no idea who Jayce really was, and he intended on keeping it that way.
Jayce stumbled on his own thoughts trying to find an answer. Shit. Viktor is right, he wasn’t supposed to tell Jayce his name until later in his apartment. Damn it. “Uh—“ he stalled as he tried to think of a lie. “H-Heimerdinger had mentioned you once. You’re his assistant, right? Snarky Undercity kid with an accent? Not many other people here who fit that description.”

After the Hexcore collapsed, Jayce gets sent back to where it all started, the day he met Viktor, but Viktor seems to have no recollection of him. What happens when Jayce gets another chance, knowing what he knows now.
My take on Season 2 Jayce with Season 1 Viktor until Viktor eventually remembers everything and they live happily ever after because I refuse to give these two any more sad endings!
No idea how many chapters this will have, we're just gonna roll with it until the dopamine stops.

Summary
After the 5 times/character study/fix-it of "You Are That Girl", Glinda is over the moon at her supposed happy ending with Elphaba, despite still being on the run.
Yet when old insecurities return and actual inspiration strikes, Glinda comes up with a real, Elphie-like plan that involves returning to Oz, playing along with Morrible & the Wizard's lies, being honored at the palace, and sneaking Elphie in to save the monkeys & get her own happy ending - & that will surely prove Glinda can make good for her.
But even in a presumed happy ending, no good deed gets rewarded.
Spoilers/fix-its for the movie and musical.

His eyes softened, and he shook his head; "We wanted to do good last time, as well. And you know how it ended. But, I can't deny, that I do wish I could've actually helped people. Not..." He paused. "Whatever I did last time."
"And you won't do it this time! We can prevent each other from making the same mistakes."
Or: Jayce and Viktor are transported in the past, where they finally realize their dream of making the world a better place, while figuring out their feelings for each other along the way.
