Something was up with Yuri. Maddie may not be the most up to date in the ghost world anymore, but she did still have functioning eyes. After everyone else cleared out of the auto body shop (or at least moved on to other topics of conversation throughout the room), Maddie took Yuri aside.

She walked in, and splashed water on her face as he waited patiently next to her. She took a deep breath and tried to remember that this was for Simon, she could do this. She had to do this.
“Where’s Simon?”
She asked, turning her head barely enough to see Wally as she spoke. He looked worried. She was really tired of getting those looks. It was either worry or taunt, and that was all she’d get in this town till she moved, she could guarantee it. At least once this was all over, her friends and family could revert back to their concealed looks of concern. Wally sighed next to her and hopped into the window cavity, a favorite spot of his.
